wow. pus and reproductive enzymes.. i bet it all came from a magical farm where the hens and cows frolic with unicorns into the sunset as they happily donated their by products for humans to get fat and sick on.. yum.
Wow is right. angry much? look I agree that cows and chickens are raised in pretty atrocious conditions. But, this is a site for meat-eaters to go vegetarian one day a week. This is not a site for meat eaters to become vegan full-time. There are plenty of sites out there that accomplish this (I believe your myspace page is one of them). We try to offer a different option for full-time meat eaters to get acquainted with a vegetarian diet. I’d love everyone to be vegan (including myself)…but some of us need to take baby steps to realize our potential.
you’re right. sorry to seem so militant about it; i’m not angry. i sometimes just get disturbed by things like this, but i realize that trying to go veg*n one day at a time is sometimes necessary for people to see that it’s possible - so i absolutely appreciate this site. i was just hoping to see more non-animal related recipes and what not.
No worries. I can understand where you’re coming from. We’ll do a better job of posting veg only recipes on the site. So give me a hand, send us your suggestions. Do you have a favorite? Let’s post it.
